Third Temple in the City of Jerusalem?

Many people who await a Messianic coming–be they Christians who await the second coming, or Jews awaiting the first coming–are all typically awaiting this scenario: that the Messiah will establish his Messianic kingdom in Jerusalem. Many believe that this is what is being set up now in Israel–that the Jews are preparing the land for the coming Messiah. Albeit many Christians ignore this aspect of messianic fulfillment, the Jewish expectation is that the Messiah will re-establish the temple in Jerusalem and reinstate the long abandoned Levitical priesthood.

Now, the writings of the prophets make this abundantly clear–that this will happen–however the people interpreting these prophecies are doing what many people do: reject certain parts of scripture because they do not match what their religious leaders and their secular leaders have told them about their faith and the world they live in. Let us look at Isaiah/Yeshayahu for a very powerful revelation:

 1) The word that Yeshayahu the son of Amots saw concerning Yahudah and Yerushalem: 2) And it shall be in the latter days that the mountain of the house of YHWH is established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills. And all nations shall flow to it. 3) And many peoples shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, to the house of the Aluhayim of Yakub, and let Him teach us his ways, and let us walk in His paths, for out of Tsiyon comes forth the Torah, and the Word of YHWH from Yerushalem.  (Isaiah/Yeshayahu 2:1-3) (TS2009)

It is clear here that the house of YHWH will be on the top of a mountain. Yerushalem (or as it is called today, Jerusalem) as it is today is atop a hill, not a mountain. The house of YHWH described in Yeshayahu is exalted above the hills, and as well, seems to be on top of the mountains. This translation “top of” is a weak translation of the word בראש (phonetically, B’RASH) which translates as “on the greatest/chiefest/highest/foremost, etc.” YHWH’s house is not on top of the mountains–it is on the greatest and tallest of mountains.

Textual criticism is crucial for scriptural understanding, and so we employ the Septuagint (or LXX) as well for study. Here, the LXX Isaiah/ΗΣΑΙΑΣ reads:

1) The word which came toe Esaias the son of Amos concerning Judea, and concerning Jerusalem. 2) For in the last days the mountain of [YHWH] shall be glorious, and the house of [Aluhayim] shall be on the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above all the hills; and all nations shall come to it. 3) And many nations shall go and say, “Come and let us go up to the mountain of [YHWH], and to the house of the [Aluahyim] of Jacob; and he will tell us His way, and we will walk in it,” for out of Sion shall go forth the law, and the word of [YHWH] out of Jerusalem. (Isaiah/ΗΣΑΙΑΣ 2:1-3) (LXX Brenton)

Note the similarities, and the subtle differences, most notably the word “glorious“. The words being translated here as glorious are ἐμϕανὲς τὸ ὄρος, which is literally along the lines of “obvious/noticeable/unmistakeable, etc. the mountain”, which suggests that the mountain will be so prominent that it would be difficult to miss it.

What can be concluded here, for those who believe that Yahushua is the one who came, went, and will come again, and if we understand who Yahushua is (Yahushua means “YHWH is savior/deliverer), then we should expect Him to be the one to do these thing. We should also be anticipating an anti-messiah (greek ἀντίχριστος meaning literally “another/some other messiah”), who will use deception to fool the world into worshipping him. We can expect that he will come as the savior to all, including Jews and Christians, and will set up his temple and sacrifices at the place that all the people of the world think is to be the place that is to be the third temple (e.g. Jerusalem, in the nation state of Israel).

So now the problem is becoming clear: that the 3rd temple is not going to be on a hill in the middle east, but on the greatest of mountains. This might suggest that mount Everest would be where YHWH will build His temple, but that is only if we use what we have been taught by secular schools, whose goal is to make us forsake the Creator by following their doctrines such as evolution and the big bang, and teaching us hyper-selective history, focusing heavily on the Babylonian and Egyptian cultures, the ancient Greek and Roman cultures, and then skipping over nearly 2000 years of time to the age of enlightenment in Europe, ignoring much enlightening history in exchange for a broad focus on what should be considered a questionable selection. Why should we believe the established system of Man which is heavily based on pagan Greek and Roman ideals, and which seeks to usurp YHWH from the minds of all in exchange for the Greek and Roman mindset of man-worship and science-worship? So the nature of the Great mountain lies in question, and requires a different way of thinking about the world in order to understand.

Before we cover this, let us look at some other scriptures to get an idea of what to expect when Yahushua (YHWH is deliverer/savior) is first returning to earth to establish His messianic.

29) “And immediately after the distress of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. 30) And then the sign of the Son of Adam shall appear in the heaven, and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Adam coming on the clouds of the heaven with much power and much esteem. 31) And he shall send his messengers with the sound of a great trumpet, and they shall gather his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other,” (Matthew/Mattithyahu 24:29-31)

“And all the powers of the heaven shall melt, and the sky shall be rolled up like a scroll: and all the stars shall fall like leaves from a vine, and as leaves fall from a fig tree.” (Isaiah/ΗΣΑΙΑΣ 34:4) (LXX Brenton)

“18) And it said, “Behold the days are coming, and it shall be that when I draw near to visit the inhabitants of the earth, 19) and when I require from the doers of iniquity the penalty of their iniquity, and when the humiliation of Zion is complete, 20) and when the seal is placed upon the age which is about to pass away, then I will show these signs: the books shall be opened before the firmament, and all shall see it together.” (2 Esdras/4 Ezra 6:18-20)

If the scriptures are true, then these things will happen. However…they cannot happen on the world we are told to believe in: the spinning globe flying through the vastness of space. These things can only happen in the world that the ancients knew of: the flat disc world with a great solid dome-like structure above it, which separates it from another world outside (the “heavenly realm”).

As well known as the concept of a flat earth is today (wether of proponents or ridiculers), what is not as common of an understanding is the idea of a central land in the middle of the world; however, those who study more into this topic will likely come across it. This place is known by many names, one of which is “Eden”. And in the center of this land called eden is a great mountain, called Meru, Olympus, etc. and as I have come to understand, Zion (also known as Sion, or Mt. Hermon) This is not going to be an in-depth flat-earth article (which is being saved for a later post), however, it is important to cover this basic idea.

The Eberyeh scriptures do not spend vast amounts of space dedicating themselves to discussing this place explicitly, seeing as how we were sent away from there, and are not to return there on our accord, unless we seek to be slaughtered by Cherubim with burning swords. For this reason of potentially being killed, YHWH has not left, in the volumes of Eberyeh works, vast amounts of enigmatic and alluring writings about our original home, so that we would not be distracted by seeking to return to a place we cannot go to on our own. Instead, He turned our attention more towards obeying His covenant, and notifying us of our King and High Priest, because through this we will return there–by the power of YAH and not by our own power. However, if one knows where to look, one can find traces of this old home-land in the various writings.

So this great mountain, that is to be set above all mountains, in which the temple will be rebuilt, is none other than the great mountain in the middle of the world, which YAH dwells above and watches his creation over. Here will He make his descent, in the body He took 2000 years before, but glorified. And when He does this, all will see at once, for the firmament will collapse down, and the outer world will be revealed. No man–no anti-messiah–could ever do this. Only YHWH can, and it will be by this that all bow down and say, “This is the Most High, YHWH.” and there will be no way to deny it. When YAH descends to earth, the false one–the lawless one–will be revealed as a pathetic fraud. And this temple upon the mountain cannot be built with men’s hands, and will have much glory compared to the weak structure that man is setting to build now, which they claim to be the true temple of YHWH, which will only serve as a center of worship for the lawless one.

One final remark: In YHWH’s promise to Abraham, and the 400 year prophecy, it makes no mention that after the time is over would YAH’s elect return to a land in the middle east now called “israel”. YAH said “13)…’Know for certain that your seed are to be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them, and they shall afflict them 400 years. 14) But the nation whom they serve I am going to judge, and afterward let them come out with great possessions.” (Genesis/Bereshith 15:13-14)(TS2009) The other part of this prophecy, vv. 15-16, are not regarding the final exodus of vv.13-14, but are regarding the exodus from Egypt (Mitsrayim). Click here to see my timeline of the time spent in Mitsrayim before the exodus, and how this is explained chronologically.

YHWH purposely allowed us to be surrounded by deceivers and lies and corrupt information, while simultaneously leaving the truth in plain sight, easy to find. So we are left with a choice: to seek the truth, which is all around us; or, to be deceived by the many lies that also surround us, and cause us to not know YHWH’s plans, and follow man to salvation, instead.

Let us hear the words of the song:
Great is YHWH, and greatly to be praised
In the city of our Aluhayim, His Set-apart mountain
Beautiful on high, the joy of all the earth,
Is Mount Sion on the sides of the north,
The city of the Great Sovereign.
     Aluhauim is in her citadels;
He is known as her refuge.
(Psalm 48:1-3)
