Net Neutrality. Is This Issue Truly What it is Being Made to Be?

Lately in the American news we have been hearing much about “repealing net neutrality” under the administration of U.S. president Donald Trump.

Essentially, this FCC bill is said to be instituted in 2015 under the Obama administration, prohibited large internet provider companies  from biasing and manipulating internet traffic (which would allow these companies to govern and censor the internet), seeing as how they are capable of such influence. It would therefore be illegal to do so.

However, this was not the first instance of such net-neutrality laws, just an update of an older one from 2010. ⇒Click Here for a link to the bill
Here are some short samples from the bill regarding the main scope of the bill:

What is being withheld from the public, is that this bill, passed in 2010, did nothing. In 2014 Verizon filed a lawsuit against the FCC for this bill and Verizon won, and was since then no longer under the restrictions of this bill. This lawsuit was heard by a federal court, and ruled by federal judges during Obama’s administration. This meant that Verizon was permitted to censor internet traffic, and bias searches, and prevent people from seeing certain media and internet material. ⇒Click this link to read one of a few articles on this

Now if we search out Verizon’s business assets up to Jan 14 2014 (the time they were alleviated from the effects of “net neutrality”, we see what they already had control of:

Yes, they had control of Comcast, Time Warner and Broighthouse wireless networking; CyberTrust, a company based in online data collection and “protection”; and also a company involved in internet interconnectivity between other machines, particularly vehicles such as cars, trucks, etc. These are but a few of their acquisitions before  1/14/2014, and it it is by no means exhaustive. ⇒Here is a link to the full page listing what Verizon owns ⇐(and believe it: as this is their own website, they greatly shroud the nature of how much they own) .

Now immediately after this, Verizon acquired Intel assets, AOL, and finally Yahoo, and more recently some other strange and startling acquisitions, such as a drone service company; more vehicle communications companies, this time for commercial and government vehicles (yes they have military contracts); and a platform to accelerate the 5G network (Please look up the 5G network and its purpose for mind-alteration and psychological control, as we have not yet done an article on it yet, though we hope to soon!).

Essentially, this is the issue:
Right under our noses one of the largest internet providers was granted the right to ignore all net-neutrality issues, and is free to censor as they please. And the top 3 internet providers are: Comcast, AT&T, and Time Warner, two of which are partially controlled by Verizon.

So while everyone is out now protesting Donald Trump’s administration repealing “net neutrality”, the truth is we never had it! The large internet companies which have control over nearly everything have had the freedom to ignore net neutrality for as long as the bill was in place, and conveniently after they had gained such control.

The Elites are laughing at us! Everyone is angry, shouting against the name of “Trump” and angry that the people’s savior Obama is having his wonderful legislation removed. Sorry, but Obama never did anything for net neutrality seeing as how most of the internet’s controllers do not have to oblige. This is nothing more than a show, and is used to divide and distract us from much more important matters, and as well, prohibit us from indeed knowing the deeper scope of the matters regarding internet censorship. So do not fall into the Elite’s mind-game trap of being angry about losing “net neutrality”, because we never had it, and this is all just a huge farce.

(Let it be known, that we at Scrips N Foil do not see Donald Trump as a good force, on the people’s side, who is only portrayed as a villain. He is indeed an Elite, and likely one with more control than past puppet presidents. He is no savior to the American people, or mankind. There is only one Savior, YHWH, who sent us Yahushwa, so that we might be atoned before the Most High YHWH. Indeed the negative portrayal of Donald Trump is part of the Illuminated’s master scheme, and Trump is actively participating in it with full consent and probable enjoyment.)

Unfortunately, due to the advent of this net neutrality issue in recent time, searching for information on the nature of this issue prior to the recent events is difficult, as the search engines and news stories are completely flooded with material from the last 2 weeks, and it seems that little else shows up. Fortunately, we here at Scrips N Foil had done research on this issue a few months ago (before the creation of our site), before this hit, and had some memory of where to return to to put this information on here, albeit it was still difficult due to having to sift through many articles revolving around recent events. We hope you find our information profitable. May YAH give you a blessed day, and may you keep questioning what you are told about the world around you.

Torah Study 1.2 Exodus/Shemoth 20:22-26

Continuing our weekly study of the Turah, breaking down each chapter to have a deeper understanding of the Turah of our Creator YHWH. As usual, we will study both the Masoretic Text, and the Greek Septuagint (LXX).

Verses 22-23 — What not to Serve or Seek

And YHWH said to Mosheh, “Say this to the children of Y’shral: ‘You yourselves have seen that I have spoken to you from the heavens. You do not make besides me mighty ones of silver, and you do not make mighty ones of gold for yourselves.'” (Masoretic)(TS2009)

And [YHWH] said to Moses, “Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and thou shalt report to the children of Israel, ‘Ye have seen that I have spoken to you from heaven. Ye shall not make to yourselves gods of silver, and gods of gold ye shall not make to yourselves. (LXX)

Who are the Children of Y’shral? 

Here we have a clear distinction between the Masoretic text and the Septuagint, and this is in v. 22, with the mention of the house of Jacob (or, Yakub)  in the Septuagint, where it is absent in the Masoretic.
In Greek, the word here for house is οικος (Oikos) which means “House: as in a place or dwelling and/or a family (which would reside in such a house)” These two definitions can exist separately, or together, and in this case it is speaking about the family line which came from Yakub, as this idea of a “house” being a family is also an Eberyeh (Hebrew) concept. Yakub is the paternal lineage—the bloodline from which the blood of the twelve tribes comes from. Israel (Y’shral) however, is a different group, and this is understood by the renaming of Yakub in Genesis/Bereshith 32, where Yakub wrestles with the temporarily incarnated YHWH. Y’shral is the people group who is “upright, righteous before Al (YHWH)” and who are “made straight by Al” and will “rule with Al” (⇒click this link for our article on the meaning of Y’shral’s name⇐) These people of Y’shral are not all of the blood of Yakub; and yet, not all of the people who are of the blood of Yakub are going to be Y’shral. Think in Eberyeh: can you be “upright and righteous” before YHWH if you do not obey His commandments? No, so you cannot be Y’shral if you do not obey His commandments. But can you be of the house of Yakub if you do not obey YHWH’s commands? Yes, because no matter what, you cannot change who you were descended from.

 

Another important point that is the cause of much disobedience to YHWH by women, and the reason of false instruction by men from interpretations of when YHWH says: “speak to the children of Israel“. Because the word here for “children” is בנ “ben”, the assertion is that this masculine word does not address women, as the word is masculine, and has a feminine counterpart, בת “beth”, which typically means “daughter”, therefore making “ben” sons. However, the word “ben” is also used with great frequency to simply describes descendants of a people, and in fact the word is also the root of  בנה “benah” which means “to build up”. So it is not just the male children of Y’shral that are addressed, but rather all the descendants of Y’shral, and furthermore, all the people built up from Y’shral.
This is paralleled in the Greek Septuagint text, as the “children of Y’shral” is written “υιοις Ισραηλ” with “υιοις” literally being “sons of”, yet this same Greek word was used by the Greeks to define the same concept shared by Eberyim: that of general building of a name, a people, etc. through descendants, which was recognized through sons, but not therefore reckoning only the sons as descendants.
If it were the case that These addresses were only for the males, then a woman could eat whatever things she desired, extort or rob their neighbor, drink blood, sacrifice her children to other mighty ones (by killing them or dedicating them to service), etc. Anywhere where YHWH addresses: “speak to the children (בנ ben) of Y’shral”, then a woman, by this fallacious logic, would not have to listen to these commands. This is a great evil, to ignore YHWH’s commands, for they were given not just to the males of Yakub, but to those who are of the building of the house of Y’shral, both man and woman.

Silver

Now, we see YAH say “you yourselves have seen that I have spoken to you from the heavens”. The word here for “seen” is ראה “Rahah” which means not only to see with eyes, but “to take notice of, perceive, witness, encounter, know, etc.” For those of us who have been reborn spiritually, we now know YHWH, and this awakening He has given us is akin to Him saying that we “have seen Him speak from Heaven”. YAH spoke to us through His spirit, and has enlightened us. We have witnessed His workings in our lives. We have seen His works. Therefore, having been revealed the truth of YHWH through His spirit, it would be a great error to then turn and make mighty ones  of silver and gold. This word for “mighty ones” is “אלֹהי” which in the masoretic text is missing a letter, and should sound as “Aluhahyeh” and means “your strength/strong one”. These “strong ones” are not to be silver or gold.

In the language of the Eberyim, silver is כספ “keseph” meaning “silver, money, wages, price” and also “greed, lust, desire” and “longing fear (for such things as money, things, being provided for, etc.)” The word כספ is also rooted in כס, “Kes” which is “a throne, plush cushion, fine plump seat” and this word spawns all forms of words for luxuries and comforts. This gives greater understanding to Yahushwa’s parallel to Turah when he said his famous statements about worrying about our lives, and that we cannot serve YAH and money, (Matthew/Mattithyahu chapter 6) and as well made many similar statements.  And as well, when he told us to pray “give us this day our daily bread” meaning that we should seek for YHWH to give us what he will to sustain us, when meanwhile the spiritual things are more important. YHWH is not saying in the Turah only to not make a silver statue and worship it (though this could be understood) but rather, in a deeper, truer sense, to not make our strength and our mighty one to be money and luxuries and desires for things, and to not have the longing fear for these things be our mighty one, for we have perceived YHWH. We have taken notice of Him, and now we are to fully trust in the living Aluah.

Gold

As for making our “strength or strong one” of gold: this word is זהב Zahb, literally meaning “shimmering, gold, attractive (like gold is attractive)” and is related to other words of brilliance, and is rooted in the word זה “Zah” which, among its meanings, is : “this or that, thus and such, another, these others”. So does YAH not want us to make statues of gold? Albeit He does not want us to do that, He was also (and more-so) saying that he does not want us to make our strength nor our mighty one to be the shimmering things, the gilded things that we see with our eyes, which see and think “Ooh! Pretty!”. Whereas silver is attributed to more existential gains, greed and lust, for comforts and money; gold is representing even more lavish and grandiose things, which seep to be especially shining and appealing. As this word for gold is similar to זֹהר or זוהר “Zohar” it is fair to understand various religious philosophies of so-called “enlightenment” to be glittering golden things that seem very appealing, yet are not to be served, because they are rooted in nothing but lies and demonic forces. We are not to abandon YHWH and His promises to us, which he clearly revealed to us, and we noticed it (ראה rahah), so as to follow vain things of “glimmering appeal”. Its interesting that the phrase “all that glitters is not gold” is so popular in secular society, seeing as how this saying has two meanings: the scriptural one being that the metal called gold is not the only thing that the word זהב describes. As much as many people abide by the secular principal of “all that glitters is not gold”, they are not aware that they are led to chase down much “gold” as their life’s service. Let’s not make that choice. Lets stick with YHWH, and be strong.

Verses 24-26 — How to Approach YHWH, and His Pleasing Sacrifice

“Make a slaughter-place of earth for me, and you shall slaughter on it your ascending offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your cattle. In every place where I cause My name to be remembered I shall come to you and bless you. And if you make Me a slaughter-place of stone, do not build it of cut stone, for if you use your chisel on it, you have profaned it. Nor do you go up by steps to my slaughter-place, lest your nakedness be exposed on it.” (Masoretic) (TS2009)

“You shall make to me an altar of earth; and upon it you shall sacrifice your whole burnt-offerings, and your peace-offerings, and your sheep and your calves in every place, where I shall record My name; and I will come to you and bless you. And if you should make to me an altar of stones, you shall not build them hewn stones; for you have lifted your tool upon them, and they are defiled. You shall not go up to my altar by steps, that you might not uncover your nakedness upon it.” (LXX)

The Altar and its Offering

Here we begin with being told to make a slaughter-place of earth, (this being for the time in the wilderness without the temple to YHWH) If we look at the Hebrew for this, things become more profound.  Here the Hebrew reads: מזבח אדמה תעשה-לי.

we have:
מזבח-Mezbech: “altar” however, literally it means “from slaughter/ from offering
אדמה-Adamah: Red earth/dirt/soil
תעשה-Thwashah: “you will make/commit/do”
לי-ley: To me/for me/ belonging to me
An interesting note: the letter א (Aleph) also serves as a prefix for the word “I” (such as אהיה : I (א) Am Existent (היה). The Hebrew word דם (Dam) means blood. A-Dam means I/blood or I bleed/I have blood. As well, Dam means guilt, thus, I am guilt/guilty. דמה (Damah) means “compare/liken/consider” Thus, adamah means I like/compare/consider, or “I am a likeness/comparison”
As well, the hebrew character Aleph symbolically represents strength, making Adam “Strong blood”
Now we know Yahushwa was called the son of Adam, and that through him we lose our identity as the first man, and become the second man (1 Corinthians 15:45-48), and that Yahushwa said we must be reborn as new beings (John chapter 3) and that we must lose our lives to find life (Matthew 16:25, Luke 9:24).
So it seems as though YHWH was declaring what would happen to Yahushwa, and as well what should happen to us, through this command. And it is upon this “altar” that we are told to make “ascending offerings (עלותיך)” and Peace offerings (שלמיך)”.
These are, in Hebrew:
עלותיך-weluthyek: ascents/ascending/increase/lay up/store up/burn/offer/exalt, etc. (all plural and possessive)

שלמיך-shelemyek: peace/thanks/rest/kindness/friendliness/goodwill/perfection/completion/finish (All plural and possessive)

These are the two things which are “from the slaughter/offering”. The nature of the slaughter place being defined as an article which brings “something from what is slaughtered” rather than being “a place for putting slaughters” denotes the active nature of YHWH, for it is not merely a lifeless slaughter-place, but rather something that brings things from it. This is the importance of the next part of the selection, in which YHWH commands us not to build them of hewn stones, as this would imply us doing work with our own hands to make the place from which YAH sends FROM, so as to make it better. But meanwhile, YHWH has provided plenty of rocks and dirt lying around, formed by Him and not by us. Therefore, let us use what YHWH has fashioned, rather than what we choose to fashion of our own hearts, and then, as YHWH says:

“In every place In every place where I cause My name (אשם)to be remembered (אזכיר) I shall come to you and bless you.”

אשם-ashem: my name/nature/character/appellation/individuality/honor

אזכיר-azeke’yer: I cause to be remembered/considered/contemplated/though upon/ burn incense (to)/brought to mind

ברכתיך-barakthyek: I will bestow on you multiple blessings/kneeling/congratulations/good things

“I call upon you therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Aluhayim, to present your bodies as a living offering—set apart, well pleasing to Aluhayim—your reasonable worship.” (Romans 12:1)

YHWH told us how to begin to do this in His Turah, in the very beginning of His giving of the commands, and we must keep studying it deeply so that we may be such acceptable “living sacrifices” or “offerings” to YHWH, and the way to this is through spiritual rebirth, for a man or woman who is solely minded in flesh and blood has not offered that worldly mind away as a sacrifice, and therefore has not received from the offering the gifts which YHWH promised. This promise was fulfilled through Yahushwa (fulfilled meaning brought to its perfection, the place where it was always meant to be, and where it is greatest; it does not mean finished and done away with).

Animals of the Offering

We are told to offer on this “altar” cattle (בכר) and sheep (צאנ).

בכר-bakar: “large plow animal, also inspect/inquire/search out/ admire/ break forth/ spread out [hence, ‘plow’]”
צאנ-Tsaan: “sheep, also go out/seek/go to and fro/go about/ (amble and search and wander, looking for the guide, as a sheep does)”

These are the things which go upon the slaughter place. This is what must be in our spirit: this nature; a nature seeking to find YHWH, with our life’s purpose to seek YHWH and find Him. By this we receive from the “slaughter”.
Yahushwa said, “For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened.” (Matthew 7:8).

How not to Approach YHWH

Finally, this chapter is closed with YHWH telling us not to go up to his slaughter place by “stairs”, or else our nakedness would be exposed.

The word for stairs is: מעלת-mwaleth, and means: “from elevation, traveling up, as in a hill,   high degree, journeying upward, coming to glory (all of these plural)” and as well, has relation to “treachery, sin, secrecy, covertly, sneakily (all of these plural)”
So if we approach YHWH’s altar as a “sacrifice” to Him, it must not be in these ways, or we will certainly have our nakedness exposed as we proceed. Having ones privates exposed is especially shameful, and if we try to approach YHWH in the manners which were described as “stairs”, then at some point along the way, we will be humiliated.
No, YHWH seeks for his servants who dedicate themselves to Him to approach him with humility.
“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” (Matthew 5:5)
“YHWH resists the proud, but shows favor to the humble (Proverbs 3:34)

So these are the things which YHWH told Mosheh as soon as he entered the cloud. Let us meditate on these things as we seek YHWH, and continue to study the Turah, and seek out wisdom and truth and understanding. YAH, YHWH be praised for His great and unending wisdom! Have a blessed Shabbath!

White Room in Texas? What Does the Band Cream Say?

Those who live in the U.S. will likely know about what the media claimed was a mass shooting in a church in Sutherland Springs Texas, which was reported within the last month. If you do not know about this, one only needs to research “Texas mass shooting church” in some search engine to find what the mainstream media will wants you to believe about it.

Now they claim that 26 people died in this church from the alleged shooting, and yet days later they began remodeling the whole church, painting the whole inside white white:

Some interesting things to note are the red crosses on the white backgrounds, very akin to these images:

Now those who follow Yahushwa, and are obedient to the Father YHWH, should know that none of these symbols has anything to do with worshipping YHWH, but that all these things are blasphemous to use for worship and admiration, and as well, these things are well proven to be used in pagan religious practices worldwide, which YHWH says we are not to mimic (Jeremiah 10:2).

Yes, this red cross goes back to groups like the rosicrucians, knights templar, etc. and these medieval groups only borrowed it from older sources dating back to the religion of Nimrod/Semiramis/Tammuz a.k.a. Mystery Babylon.

What is also interesting, is that the church normally looked like this:

So they have purposefully moved a large wooden cross to stand before 26 chairs in an all-white room. Now, the wooden cross is just a symbol of Tammuz, and in a later article we will expound on how a cross is nothing more than an ancient pagan means of standing an image of a god so that it could stand tall with its hands spread (since these things are otherwise lifeless and cannot stand). So there is a giant idol for Tammuz standing forefront and center in this place, with 26 chairs looking upon it. And this is not to be a religious memorial; it is a national memorial for a domestic terror attack on U.S. soil.

So now, we see this event: another supposed terror attack, this time done domestically (rather than by “radical Islamic terrorists”), shortly after the alleged shooting in las vegas (but this is old news). We have all been programmed well to believe in the vague “islamic terrorism” so that we can have a picture painted so as to be prepared for future programming regarding “domestic terrorism”.

So it is interesting that this room has been converted all white: it is one open, white room, created by what we are told is a domestic terror attack.
So now, without further ado, here are the lyrics to the song “White Room” by the late sixties rock group Cream, (containing noted guitarist Eric Clapton):

Anyway…

It is interesting to note that the awning over the door of the church reads, “Hear the word of the LORD.” which is a reference to Jeremiah 7:2. Let’s read what all of Jeremiah 7 says, and meditate on it:

1The word that came to Yirmeyahu from YHWH, saying,
2“Stand in the gate of the House of YHWH, and you shall proclaim there this word, and shall say, ‘Hear the word of YHWH, all you of Yehuḏah who enter in at these gates to bow before YHWH!’ ”
3Thus said YHWH of hosts, the Aluhayim of Y’shral, “Make your ways and your deeds good, then I let you dwell in this place.
4“Do not trust in these false words, saying, ‘This is the temple of YHWH, the temple of YHWH, the temple of YHWH!’
5“For if you truly make your ways and your deeds good, if you truly do right-ruling between a man and his neighbour,
6if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other mighty ones to your own evil,
7then I shall let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.
8“See, you are trusting in false words, which do not profit –
9stealing, murdering, and committing adultery, and swearing falsely, and burning incense to Ba‛al, and walking after other mighty ones you have not known.
10“And you came and stood before Me in this house which is called by My Name, and said, ‘We have been delivered’ – in order to do all these abominations!
11“Has this house, which is called by My Name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Look, I, even I Myself have seen it,” declares YHWH.
12“But go now to My place at Shiloh, where I set My Name at the first, and see what I did to it because of the evil of My people Yisra’ĕl.
13“And now, because you have done all these works,” declares YHWH, “and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you did not hear, and I called you, but you did not answer,
14“I shall also do to this house, which is called by My Name, in which you trust, and to this place which I gave to you and your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.
15“And I shall cast you out of My presence, as I have cast out all your brothers, all the seed of Ephrayim.
16“And you, do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me, for I do not hear you.
17“Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Yahudah and in the streets of Yerushalem?
18“The children are gathering wood, the fathers are lighting the fire, and the women are kneading their dough, to make cakes for the sovereigness of the heavens, and to pour out drink offerings to other mighty ones, to provoke Me.
19“Is it Me they are provoking?” declares YHWH. “Is it not themselves – unto the shame of their own faces?”
20Therefore, thus said the Master YHWH, “See, My displeasure and My wrath is poured out on this place, on man and on beast, and on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground. And it shall burn and not be quenched.”
21Thus said YHWH of hosts, the Aluhayim of Y’shral, “Add your ascending offerings to your slaughterings and eat meat.
22“For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim, about matters of ascending offerings or slaughterings.
23“But this word I did command them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I shall be your Aluhayim, and you be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, so that it be well with you.’
24“But they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in the counsels, in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward.
25“From the day that your fathers came out of the land of Mitsrayim until this day, I have even sent to you all My servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them.
26“But they did not obey Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck. They did evil, more than their fathers.
27“And you shall speak all these words to them, though they do not listen to you. And you shall also call to them, though they do not answer you.
28“But you shall say to them, ‘This is a nation that did not obey the voice of YHWH their Aluhayim, nor did they accept instruction. Truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.
29Cut off your hair and throw it away, and take up a lamentation on the bare heights, for YHWH has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.’
30“For the children of Yahudah have done what is evil in My eyes,” declares YHWH. “They have set their abominations in the house which is called by My Name, to defile it.
31“And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into My heart.
32“Therefore see, the days are coming,” declares YHWH, “when it shall no longer be called Topheth, or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter, for they shall bury in Topheth until no room is left.
33“And the corpses of this people shall be food for the birds of the heavens and for the beasts of the earth, with none to frighten them away.
34“And in the cities of Yahudah and in the streets of Yerushalem I shall make to cease the voice of rejoicing and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. For the land shall become a waste!
It us interesting that just two verses after the one referenced over the church door, is a verse saying not to believe the false report: “this is the temple of YHWH!”, as well, all being part of a message of turning to obedience to YHWH in order to dwell with Him forever, and one only obeys YAH by keeping the Turah.

 

So In Conclusion:

Now there are no black curtains here yet (and who knows…there might never be) but these folk who do the work to complete Mystery Babylon certainly are putting out a message. What that message is: not certain. However, this song White room might tell more. However, the esoteric and secretive elites who put out this song are the same esoteric and secretive elites who orchestrated this business in Texas, and so this song is certainly shrouded in mystery, and yet certainly can be decoded. As of now, it is just an interesting connection, and no conclusion to the song and what it fully means in this scenario is certain.

Putting 1 Enoch 7:4 into Visual Perspective

 

“1) And all of them [the fallen Watchers] together went and took wives for themselves, each choosing one for himself, and they began to go into them and defile themselves with sex with them,
2) And the angels taught them charms and spells, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants.
3) And the women became pregnant, and they bare large giants, whose height was 3000  ells.
4) The giants consumed all the work and toil of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them  and devoured mankind.

Eating According to the Word of YHWH Part 1–Basic Organisms

It may seem like YAH’s commands about what to eat are pretty basic: obviously no bacon, catfish, clams, squirrel, etc. However, some do not grasp the depth of YHWH’s food instructions, and often so as to continue enjoying eating things they are not meant to eat. I am not saying they are consciously making the decision to sin, but rather that they are not well-instructed enough to know what they are doing, and are likely subconsciously ignoring instruction or forsaking researching more.

Here we will discuss some basic organisms that YAH has told us not to eat, which are things many Turah-keepers still eat, and some teach that we can eat.

Seaweed

People will try to claim this is a plant. It is not. Although we here at Scrips n’ Foil generally do not back the claims of secular “scientists”, it is pertinent to reference them here, as they do mix truth with lies. Scientists will tell you that seaweed is not a plant, but rather, a sort of colony of photosynthetic bacteria-like organisms. Now whatever details they go into with their esoteric language about each species, their mechanics, etc., is not as important as the fact that they are not plants. They do not act like plants, they do not grow in the same medium as plants, their “leaves” are not even always the same color as plants, for they are often orange, brown, or red always, and not just in the fall. They do not reproduce like plants (via seeds [Gen. 1:29]).
Now,  let us look into Leviticus/Wayyiqra 11, where YAH elaborates on what organisms to eat, and what not to eat:

9) These you do eat of all that are in the waters: any one that has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas or in the rivers, that you do eat. 10) But all that have not fins and scales in the seas and in rivers, and all that move in the waters or any living being which is in the waters, they are an abomination to you. (Lev/Way 11:9-10)

“Any living being” in Hebrew is: מכל נפש ההיה or Makal Nephesh haHayah which is literally:

מכל: from all
נפש: spirits/beings
ההיה: the life-force/existence

so: “from all of” “the living/existing” “spirits/beings”.

There is no mention of things looking specifically like animals; simply all things which live and bear life. If it can die, it has a נפש “nephesh” which will breath its last, and then be blown away. That which cannot die has no nephesh, yet man only eats that with nephesh anyway.

Seaweed lives; it is a living being, and it is in the waters. This is undeniable. Plants live on the earth (ground), and these YHWH has given us an abundance to eat, from delicious fruits, hearty vegetables, and flavorful herbs and spices! We have such an abundance of terrestrial culinary treasures because YAH made us of the ground itself, and made us to dwell on this land. We are not made for the ocean, and so YHWH severely restricted our water-based diet. But to look upon the seas, rivers and ponds and be sorrowful for not being able to eat most of what is in there is not good in the eyes of YHWH, for we are lusting for that of the waters, when behind our backs is a plethora of food treasures on the dry land. When YHWH provides us with foods, and we are unhappy with it and want more than that, He does not look upon us with pity; He looks upon us as ungrateful, and the children of Yakub learned of this during the Exodus, when they sought more than the life-sustaining foodstuff which YAH dropped on them continually (Numbers/Bemidbar chapter 11).
Yes things like sushi are delicious, and many other delicious things contain seaweed. This does not mean we should eat them. Just because bacon smells good and tastes good does not mean we should eat it. This rule applies for all things YAH said not to eat.

Along with seaweed, this applies to corals and sponges, as they too are living beings in the waters. The same rules apply to all of these as do other things in the waters, including their dead carcasses. Albeit we are not likely to want to eat a coral or a sponge, we should not be using their bodies for everyday things such as jewelry and cleaning objects (though we really should not wear any jewelry). But, just as one would be averse to eating a sponge or a coral, so should one be regarding seaweed.

Mushrooms

Mushrooms are not food! Though the only instruction for this comes from Genesis 1:29, this does not mean it is not in the Turah, for Genesis is part of the Turah!

“See, I have given you every plant that yields seed on the face of the all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed, to you it is for food.”  (Gen 1:29)

Now let us consider the nature of the mushroom.
1) No seeds, only spores. the spores of one parent mushroom burst out of the mushroom and mate with each other, creating new mushrooms. One of the characteristics about fungi that makes them different from plants is that they are incredibly infectious, with thousands of them having no problem all landing and growing in one spot, for they are in fact usually colonies. Plants, however generally have more struggle for competition in an environment.
2) No leaves. This is apparent, and does not warrant more elaboration
3) Mushrooms live off darkness, dampness, and other putrefying conditions, and for a very important reason: they live off of death! Other such things that thrive on death and decay are pigs, vultures, rats, catfish, shrimp, millepedes, pill bugs, worms, all of which are abominable things to eat. Death is a regrettable and unclean thing, and we who follow YHWH should avoid it as much as we can, and that includes not eating things whose primary food source is so close to long-dead matter. To eat the songbird that eats the worm that eats the death is one thing. But, to eat the worm that eats the death is too close to death. YAH’s people are not even to eat clean animals that were found dead already. As for mushrooms, such an organism whose job is to decompose dead things should be seen as something to avoid eating, for the being of the mushroom itself looks strange and alien.

As well, many mushrooms thrive on feces, and this is, too, an unclean matter: something that creatures such as pigs and dogs will sometimes eat.
4) Spot the Difference!


What is the difference between these two mushrooms? One is a tasty culinary mushroom; and one will kill you if you eat it, and generally you will not know you are sick to death until shortly before you will die. Mushrooms do not have a noticeable flavor variety. A grape compared to a mango compared to cucumber compared to a pumpkin—one would have to have sensory issues to not notice drastic differences in their flavors and textures. This is not so with mushrooms. Albeit some might have subtle differences, overall there is little difference in flavor or texture between most, surely not enough to make you spit one out and say “this is definitely a poisonous mushroom!”.

Not only are many mushrooms deadly, but others cause severe psychedelic/psychoactive reactions in people. These were used for various reasons, such as communicating with “spirits” (demons) and entering the spiritual plane, as well as invoking violent wrath within oneself, so as to go into battle slaughtering as many people as one could without inhibition (this was a practice of the Scandinavian vikings, who were pagan worshippers of war, and the glory of man in battle. A man was admired for how many people he could kill before being killed himself.)

So…
Even though these things might be good-tasting, they are not things we are meant to eat, and it should be very easy to reject things we are not permitted to eat for the sake of following YHWH.

Torah Study—1.1Exodus/Shemoth 20:1-21

Welcome to Weekly Shabbath Turah Studies!

Prayerfully, there will be one of these Turah studies posted the day before Shabbath begins. Please be patient, as they are very long. We going to do a whole chapter at a time, but this was proving to make a long article, so we will do each chapter in segments for each Shabbath.

The goal of these articles is to study the Turah from beyond a surface-level perspective, and into a broad spiritual perspective. One can easily focus very intensely on one way of enacting a common of YAH. This is what became pharisaic tradition: to take one translation of the command and be very strict about its implementation, while practicing it in a mechanical, worldly way. Yahushwa, however, taught the opposite of this. He taught that we must take each command and know its broad application to life, for both body, mind and spirit–for the things of the visible physical, and for the deeper spiritual, and how they relate to YAH. Just because the string of words in the Turah can be understood in one sentence, does not mean that that is the only literal application of the string of Eberyeh words. Yahushua knew this, for he was YHWH within a man’s body, and so knew things about the Turah which the average man could not know if he was not given the spirit of YAH to understand or seek, because the man who is grounded in flesh and the world only thinks of fleshly, worldly things: like blinders on a beast which pulls a cart..

In these series of articles, we will study the Turah in-depth, for greater understanding of it, because the language of the Eberyim (Hebrews) is a very deep language, full of meaning which western languages such as greek, latin or English cannot cover in a simple translation.

These studies are by no means authoritative, nor are they likely going to cover all of the scope of the Turah. Use them as study aids to guide you in Turah, but certainly test the material in here to see if it is true. We would like for all people to know the Turah in true Spirit, albeit YAH has different plans, for He tries the hearts of all.

We will start at Exodus 20, as this is where the re-giving of the Turah to Y’shral (Israel) comes to light. We will later continue through this into all the common-giving chapters through Deuteronomy/Debarim, and then re-visit Genesis/Bereshith and the rest of Exodus/Shemoth and whatever other chapters were passed. The chapters will be broken down into smaller chunks of verses and discussed, using both the Masoretic text (TS2009) and Septuagint [LXX] (Brenton), with major points of focus in bold underline in the Masoretic, and with the major differences between the texts bold and italic in the Septuagint reading. So here we go…

 

EXODUS/SHEMOTH 20 vv. 1-20
The Decalog (Ten spoken things/declarations) or

Asherth HaDebaryim (The ten Speakings/declarations/sayings/spoken words/speeches)

Commonly known as: The Ten Commandments

vv. 1-3 — Our savior YHWH

“And Aluhayim spoke all these words, saying, “I am YHWH your Aluhyim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery. You have no other mighty ones against My face.” (vv. 1-3 Masoretic)

“And [YHWH] spoke all these words saying: “I am [YHWH] thy [Aluhayim] who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, to of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other [mighty ones] beside me.” (vv. 1-3 LXX)

The first thing we notice here is that YHWH says he took us out of Mitsrayim (Egypt in LXX) an interesting note is that the word “Mitsrayim” is a dual word, associated with many other words having to do do with affliction, laws which are not necessarily YAH’s laws, things of militarization and military presence, things having to to do with monuments and other idolatrous things; and in even simpler forms, coming or going; and finally, in the simplest form of the root word, chaff, which Yahuswha says will be burned away in the end. These are all of the things YHWH delivered us from: oppressive forces of man; oppressive rules and regulations which YHWH did not give; all forms of idolatry and blasphemy against Him, which destroy our bodies, spirits, and minds; and from aimlessly coming and going about life, with no direction; and finally, He will save us from being the chaff of the world which is to be burned in the final judgement of existence. All of these things we served as slavemasters, and were loyal to them even though these things cared not at all for us, and only sought to opress us and destroy us. But YHWH wants to free us from these things, and have us follow Him, the Creator of Existence. Thus YHWH emphasizes this place which he took us from as “the place/house of many forms of slavery/bondages/labors” (literal translation in Eberyeh (Hebrew)).
We can only have one master, according to Yahushwa, and in the Eberyeh mindset things are dualist: your master is either YHWH, or not YHWH (which would mean the devil/adversary/satan, etc.) YHWH is a Master of servants, just as the opponent is a master of servants. We are never free from a master. We are always servants and have no ultimate freedom. So we must choose our master. Do we want Mitzrayim, the cruel master of afflictions, sorrow, idolatry and disease; a liar and a hater of the Turah? or do we seek YHWH as our Master, who wrote all the laws on how to be a good master to servants, and to treat servants well, and to eventually free them; Who has given us a certain promise of freedom and happiness forever as long as we obey Him?
So, remember the meaning of the word “Mitzrayim” or “Egypt” when reading the scriptures, and it will be more clear to us why Y’shral’s murmurings against YHWH for taking them out of Mitzrayim and to their “death” in the wilderness, were such an insult to Him, and how we should reflect on this concept in our lives.

Thus, for this, YHWH first and foremost wants us to have no mighty ones other than Him. Literally in Eberyeh, the text translates somewhat like: “there will not exist to you, in any more continuations/regenerations/versions, any mighty ones near/before/among/above my face/presence.”  You do not have to be bowing before a statue made of stone to be worshiping another mighty one, as worship is often expressed by YHWH in the Turah as serving. Giving one’s body, life, spirit, and/or mind to service of anything is worship of another mighty one, if we will break YAH’s laws to serve this thing, and if we cannot bear to part with the thing, or if it takes up more of our minds than YHWH and His truth and commands. This is further elaborated by the next verses:

Verses 4-6 — Wicked Idols

“You do not make a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, of which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth; you do not bow down to them or serve them, for I, YHWH your Aluhayim am a jealous Al, visiting the crookedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing loving-commitment to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My commands.” vv. 4-6 (TS2009)

“Thou shalt not make tot thyself an idol, nor any likeness of anything, whatever things are in the heavens above, and whatever are in the earth beneath, and whatever are in the waters under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down to them, nor serve them; for I am [YHWH] thy [Aluhayim], a jealous [Al] , recompensing the sins of the fathers upon the children, to the third and fourth generation to them that hate me, and bestowing mercy on them that love Me to thousands of them, and on them that keep My commandments.” vv. 4-6 (LXX)

The word for carved image, or idol, is one which means “something carved, hewn, etc. from stone, wood, other material, etc.” and is overall related to various words involving hands, handwork, and even the work of the “hands” of the mind. Figuratively, a carved image can be that which we have molded in our own eyes to be an object of worship. It does not need to be a piece of stone or wood, as our minds have mental carving tools which can transform an otherwise futile, lifeless thing (car, money, job, personal passion/hobby) into an object of worship before our eyes, even though the physical/existential nature of the object has not changed. As was stated earlier, just because we don’t look like we are worshiping a mighty one by going to the common man’s idea of a temple and offering what would be considered sacrifices by mainstream interpretation, does not mean we are not doing so. Because, worship does not require federally recognized religions—it only requires service, as YHWH tells us.

“Any likeness” is literally described in Eberyeh as “All manifestations/likenesses/attempts to create/recreate forms” Nothing of these things in the heavens, on earth, or in the water is to be recreated so as to be bowed to or served. The practice of making “manifestations” is debatable as to what is restricted. As we know, certain things had likenesses made of them, for various reasons, but not for worship or admiration. A prime example of this is the “bronze seraph serpent” in Numbers/Bemidbar 21. It was an image of a seraph (type of fiery serpentine angel) that was only supposed to be a tool for a short period, and YAH commanded Mosheh to make it. However, it was later on turned into an object of admiration and worship—an idol—and thus it was destroyed (2 Kings 18). But even the process of making art is often for vain purposes such as aesthetic elevation and admiration of the work or the artist, or at least can easily lead to that, and thus is a dangerous practice. When practicality of an object is pushed aside for aesthetic appeal, or when there is no practical purpose for a thing whatsoever, it is easily made into a sinful vessel or article.
And regarding things such as symbols: many of these things are not of human origin, though some are, however they all tend to be used for occult practices, relating either to mystery schools or to magic practices which were delivered from the fallen Watcher angels, and none of these things have any use. They should not be made or worn or used for practice. Albeit they are all around us and it is good to recognize them, so as to know certain things to avoid, to adopt them and give them positive spiritual, or aesthetic significance if not good. 5-point, six-point stars, trees of life, various crosses, designs of fish, tridents, flour-de-lis, pyramids and eyes, etc. These things are rooted in such pagan or fallen practices. Talismans and charms worn about the body and esteemed as powerful (good-luck charms, juju, mojo, etc.) fall into this category as well, as all of these things assume that there is power in a lifeless object to help you or benefit you or protect you, rather than just keeping YAH as your strength and shield. We should glorify our Creator by showing that his people need no physical representation of spiritual protection, but have it be known through word and action that the Creator of existence is our only help, protection, and guide, and that our strength is in our relationship to Him by obedience to Him.

In Eberyeh, the word translated as “bow” means literally “to lower”, and implies not just doing a bow gesture, but also giving anything some form of ultimate authority, showing reverence to them as if they are infallible and worthy of all obedience and servitude. This is not righteous. YHWH judges all in the same perspective: child, elder, rich, poor, king, slave. For we are all capable of breaking Turah, and teaching others to do so. So, albeit there are expectancies for respect and honor to be given to certain individuals (parents, elders), we are by no means permitted to elevated them to the level of divinity, and how much more so for just images of things which represent people or entities! This applies to angels as well, for they are not incorruptible, as many texts have shown us, and they are not the Creator. If anything can be burned away in the fire of the judgement before the renewal of the world, then it should be regarded as equal status of everything else, and not regarded as anything to follow or obey no matter what, for if anything or anyone tempts you to break YHWH’s commands, or makes rules or laws requiring to do so, this one is corrupt in the eyes of the Creator, and is by no means anything to revere above Him or even near Him. We should not bow or submit to anyone or anything when they tell us to break YHWH’s commandments. Even a person’s parents, though should always be shown respect, should not be obeyed if they tell their son or daughter to break YHWH’s commandments, as this would be disobeying our true Father in heaven in order to obey creations of flesh who are under the same subjugation as you and me. “For the Turah prevails even over affection for parents, so that virtue is not abandoned for their sakes.” (4 Maccabees 2:10)

When YHWH says “visiting the crookedness” or “recompensing the sins” it can be better understood in Eberyeh as “overseeing the punishment.” This is not the same understanding as immediate punishment for sin, in which YAH says that “The fathers do not die for the sons, nor the sons for the fathers, but each dies for his own sins” (Deu/Deb  24:16), but rather, this is understood as generational cursing, in which the seed of a person is corrupted by their impurity and wickedness, whereby it could have been pure if they did not hate YAH and disobey Him. Such corruption of a man or woman’s seed is inevitably handed down to the child. Adam and Chuwah’s transgression in the garden was the first instance of this, whereby all of humanity began to deteriorate and compound curses by disobedience, passing it on to their children. And even when a man or woman turns to YHWH and does righteousness, and does not hate YHWH by disobeying him; their seed will still pass on a corrupted nature due to their former corruption and that of their parents, and so on back. This is why me must also acknowledge the sins of our fathers (Lev./Way. 26:40) It is also said, “From the wicked goes forth wickedness” (Jasher 7:48).
However, YHWH will be good to us, and show us mercy if we turn to him and keep his commandments. There is debate whether the “thousands” (אלפים) spoken of in the Hebrew text is plural thousands, or 1000 generations; however, the septuagint clears this up well, clearly denoting the third and fourth as  γενεας or “generations”, while not giving the word for thousands any indcation that it is generations. This would certainly confirm Yahushwa’s many statements about not many being saved in the end, and is much incentive for us to be diligently seeking truth, knowledge and righteousness so as not to stumble in any point, and to be able to be presented to YHWH as a diligint follower, always seeking to do righteousness and make sacrifice from our lives to serve Him.

Verses 7-11 — YHWH’s Name, and the Shabbath

You do not bring the name of YHWH your Aluhayim to naught, for YHWH does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught. Remember the Shabbath day, to set it apart. Six days you labor, and shall do all your work, but the seventh day is a Shabbath of YHWH your Aluhayim. You do not do any work—you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days YHWH made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and then rested the seventh day. Therefore YHWH blessed the Shabbath day and set it apart.” (Masoretic) (TS2009)

“Thou shalt not take the name of YHWH your Aluhayim in vain; for YHWH your Aluhayim will not acquit him that takes His name in vain. Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days thou shalt labor, and shalt perform all thy work. But on the seventh day is the sabbath of YHWH thy Aluhayim; on it thou shalt do no work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy servant nor thy maidservant, thine ox nor thine ass, nor any cattle of thine, nor the stranger that sojourns with thee. For in six days [YHWH] made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all thins in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore [YHWH] blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it.” (LXX)

There are two major things here in verse 7 that are not expressed well in either English or Greek, and those are what are translated as “name” and “naught/vain”. In the language of the Eberyim, the word used here for name means more than we know as “name”, as most people’s names today are only seen as arbitrary designations. However, the Eberyeh definition of the word did not just mean what someone was called, but referred to the very nature of the person, too. When YHWH is saying not to bring his name to “naught”, He is not just speaking of His designated Name, but about His character, His representation, His full definition. YHWH tells us that all the Turah is good, so for one to say that there are things in Turah that are not good, and yet never verbally spoke or wrote or thought the name YHWH, this is speaking evil against His name, as His character describes His whole Turah as good. Greek did a fair job translating this, as the word that language uses is the same word used for things such as properties, laws, nature, as well as names, since the greek understanding of naming thins was still to name them based of their description.
However, the word “naught and vain” are extremely poor translations, as the word used in Eberyeh is one which describes destruction, ruin, evil, lies, falsehood or corruption, as well as uselessness/vanity, whereas the Greek word simply means vanity. Albeit to do such an act would, in the end, be worthless, and to make YHWH seem worthless is awful, it is better to understand what it is that would be manifesting such transgression.

Now the rest of the verses we see about the Shabbath. The Shabbath is a subject completely on its own, but will still focused on in context here. First, the word “shabbath” by nature has to do with the number 7, and uses a root that is used for other 7-related words. The common word “Sabbath” comes from the greek pronunciation of “shabbath”, as the greeks did not have a word for the honorable seventh, and so it was transliterated rather than giving it the greek name of the common 7th, which is far different. It is also quite clear from these verses alone that the Shabbath comes after 6 days of work, creating a constant cycle of W-W-W-W-W-W-R-W-W-W-W-W-W-R… YHWH does everything in beautifully perfect patterns which can be understood as waveform frequencies. Here we can see YHWH’s beauty in the cycles of the Shabbaths and the seven days of the week:

Here we have a wave-form representation of the weeks, and their shabbaths. Should we start on one point, then after 12 cycles of shabbaths, we will restart the cycle on the same point. Here we have YHWH’s numbers 7 and 12 working beautifully together, showing YAH’s glory and wisdom. YAH clearly said work six days, and rest the seventh; there is no reason, scriptural or otherwise, to deviate from this. This practice of ours—working six days and resting on the seventh—represents what YHWH did when He created existence.  It took six of our days for him to create the world, and rested on the seventh of our days. It also represents what He will do with the world, for YHWH has His days, and His days are like 1000 years for us (Psalm 90:8 ; 2 Peter 3:8 ; Jubilees 4:30) for in six of His days He will permit us to do as we will, and never let the land rest, and be lawless. But come the time for the 7th day of His, He will not permit us to do so, and He will allot the world her shabbaths for as many 7 year shabbaths as she had life: the world and her land will exist for 7000 years, and every 7 years we are to let the land rest. thus we shall have 1000 years of Messianic reign, wherein the land shall enjoy her shabbaths. (Lev/Way 26:34). After this will be the “new day of the week” and this is called the 8th day, and it will last forever as the renewal of the earth, and all will be perfect. For the 1st day of the week is always a new beginning, but after 7000 years, it will be the final new beginning, and so no longer will there be a 1st day of the week, but an eternal 8th day of the week. There is clearly deep significance to 6 days then the 7th, and to study and embrace these things will give one deeper appreciation of the unchanging Shabbath, and allow us to praise YHWH better.
This nature of the Shabbath—in its first institution and its final application—should give us an understanding of why none are to do any work. No creative or laborious work is to be done, as this is a time when YAH rested from all His labors, and will be a solemn time of straightening for the remnant of mankind. Even though some might say that certain things—such as gardening or riding bikes—are enjoyable tasks, and are not like work to them; this is thought from our own hearts, and we must wonder what YHWH considers them to be, not what we consider them to be. If one is digging weeds and dressing flower beds, they are doing work on the land, not letting it rest, and as well acting to do so. However much one might think that the process of gardening is relaxing, it is not rest to YHWH. We must move beyond our personal desires, and wonder what rest is in a spiritual sense. One can begin with the previous description of the coming messianic age, and search scriptures to find what this will be like. However, further deep Turah study can show us the spiritual nature of our existence, and will give us a deeper understanding of what it is to rest.

As the Turah reveals the physical alongside the spiritual, so must Shabbath be understood. One of the major things Yahushwa came to do was reveal the spirit of the Turah. Seeing as how man, when given the Turah, did not regard the spiritual, he only made keeping the Turah a mechanical, spiritless process. This results in two things we see even today: 1) People not seeing the depth of Turah, and so give it less esteem than it deserves, and so do not follow commandments properly, seeking instead to mold the commands around their own hearts so as to make them compatible; or 2) taking one particular nature of the command and creating extremely meticulous, rigid methods of following them based on meaningless human practices and habits, effectively focusing in  on only one application of a command while disregarding the true broad applications of it that are practiced by true spiritual understanding (this was the problem of the pharisees).

Verses 12-17 — Final Commands of the First 10 Spoken Words

” ‘Respect your father and your mother, so that your days are prolonged upon the soil which YHWH your Aluhayim is giving you. You do not murder. You do not commit adultery. You do not steal. You do not bear false witness against your neighbor. You do not covet your neighbor’s house, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his donkey, or whatever belongs to your neighbor.’ ” (Masoretic) (TS2009)

“Honor thy father and thy mother, that it may be well with thee, that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest live long on the good land, which [YHWH] thy [Aluhayim] gives to thee. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors’ wife; thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house; nor his field, nor his servant, nor his maid, nor whatever belongs to thy neighbor.”  (LXX)

When it comes to the command “honor your father and mother”, in hebrew it is more literally translated “bring honor upon your father and mother”. This can be done by one respecting their parents to their face, but also when they are not around, by esteeming them and not speaking or acting in such a way that brings them any disgrace. If a person rises before their parents and obeys their commands, and speaks meekly and respectfully before them, they do well; but does this mean anything if their conduct away from them is speaking harsh words against them to others? If one is respectful to their father’s face, but then speaks to others about their father’s various blunders and misfortunes in choices, what are they doing? They are not being disrespectful to their father’s face, but they are disgracing him to other people, and this is an evil thing.
As well, if a person behaves in a brutish manner, acting proudly and ill-mannered, they bring their parents shame by making it seem as though their parents could not teach their child manners. Wether this is true of them or not, one should at least make efforts to correct where their parents failed at parenting, rather than bring obvious shame to their parents.
Where it reads that doing this will “prolong your days upon the soil which YHWH your Aluahyim is giving you”, this is often mistranslated, because in a worldly sense, it seems strange: the proper translation is “so that they prolong you on the ground…”. One might wonder why this power is given to the parents, as it is a command of YHWH’s that we are obeying. If we show blatant disrespect to our parents, they are likely to disinherit us in some way. As well, this can happen if we bring shame on them and it is discovered by them; or, if we do anything that causes them to lose their property, and thus disinherit us. All these thing will be done by the hand of YAH though our parents in some way in our lives if we forsake His command.
Now, spiritually speaking, we must bring honor on our father and mother, so that they keep us in our inheritance. We know who our spiritual Father is, and that is the Most High, YHWH. But then who is the mother, as we must bring honor to both? As controversial as it sounds, the mother is the Spirit of YHWH, the spirit of Wisdom, the Holy Spirit or Ruach haKodesh. Seeing as we are only children of YHWH is we are reborn by the spirit, who else bears children but a woman? We are spiritually conceived by the seed of YHWH into the Spirit of Wisdom, and we are born new creatures by her, from the Father YHWH. Yahushwa spoke of this in John 3. As well, he said if one cannot even understand earthly matters, then how can they understand the heavenly matters? (John 3:12). Indeed it seems a controversial understanding of the Spirit of YHWH, when we are constantly told by churches that the Spirit is a male force, but upon deeply contemplating this and studying the depth of scripture, such a proposal that the Spirit is masculine is blasphemous.
So considering this, then we must honor both the Father (YHWH) and the mother (The set-apart Spirit of wisdom and truth, who comes from YHWH). Without respecting, obeying, and giving honor to both of these, we will be disinherited from the promise of the “good land” or the grounds we were promised as eternal inheritances. Just as one can disrespect their mother and father to their faces, and as well when they are not visibly present; so can one curse YHWH and His Spirit directly, or that person can bring Them shame by their conduct among others (Exodus 20:7).

In the command to not murder, this is covered under the word which expressly means “to kill with especially ruthless intent. literally, to dash to pieces”. This is why we see other commands protecting individuals who accidentally kill a person, without having the desire to kill them, nor having any ill-will for the person to begin with (Deuteronomy 19); or, if a thief is breaking into a house, the owner can protect his house hold and kill him while the thief is still breaking in (Exd/Shem 22:2). This common against murder does not apply to right judgements, nor self-defense, but solely to one having in his or her own mind to do evil to a person by murdering them. Such an act is carried out only by a severe emotion or corrupt desire to do so, and is done by hatred of one’s fellow man. It is the physical carrying-out and finalizing of an already perpetuated sin. As Yahushwa said, “to hate one in your heart is to murder him (Matthew 5:21-22)” and this is true, because murdering flesh is only the continuation of an ongoing sin. One cannot commit this sin without already having the sin in them to begin with, so enmity against our fellowman must be silenced and put down, and be reconciled for peace, for no spiritual good comes from such hateful emotions.

Now YAH says not to commit adultery. This is straightforward in the physical understanding, albeit most do not understand what it is to be adulterous, as most do not understand marriage. Many believe that they cannot have sex until they “get married”, and usually that marriage is made by a ceremony carried out by a priest of some religion or a judge of some national government. The marriage is not considered real until it is federally recognized. However, you will find nowhere in scripture that any ceremony needs to be done in order for a man and a woman to be married, nor that they must be recognized as married with legal documentation that is on file with their government. Sadly, this is what people think must be done before one has sex, so as to be pure before marriage.
But in truth, one is married when one chooses their mate—a man with a woman—and consummates it with sex. Thus they are married. No ceremony or federal recognition required. The scope of this subject is covered greater within Turah, and so its details will be covered along the way. However, it should be noted that the same word used for adultery between men and women is the same word used by the prophets for adultery between man against YHWH. So as one goes about life and Turah study, we must be conscious as to what constitutes adultery in the flesh, so as to be able to reckon it in the spiritual, so as not to be adulterous to YAH.
Also, another topic of some sensitivity is the subject of one husband with many wives. Albeit there is no sin in this, it is certainly better to have only one wife. YHWH created man with only one woman alongside him. YHWH created only one Ruach from Himself. We see in the Turah a command for Y’shral’s kings not to multiply wives for themselves, and as this was ignored by even the greatest of Y’shral’s kings, they suffered for it for the very reasons the command was given. However, in a spiritual perspective, all of us who are of Y’shral are spiritually considered YHWH’s bride. This is why many wives are permitted, because it represents something spiritual. However, YHWH’s many wives of Y’shral proved the Turah: that many of them would lead astray and be wicked and disobedient, and that things would become complicated and eventually a mess. This is what happens when one has many wives. However, in the new age to come, when YAH makes a new heaven and earth, His many wives, as many as He has left, will all be as one, and with one uniform bearing of the Set-apart Spirit, and so He will have one wife: all those who truly bear His Set-apart Spirit which He created from Himself long ago, the first of creations.

Where YHWH says “do not steal” he does not simply mean going into a store and grabbing merchandise and running out. The Eberyeh word He gave us for this means “To steal, take by stealth, carry away, to deceive, either literally or figuratively”. So not only should one not physically grab someone’s property by force and run off with it, but they should not be doing anything which would persuade people to give him their money, if there is falsehood in their exchange. Even though con-artists tend to work by have people willingly give them their money, their merchandise, delivery and all aspects of their craft are centered around falsehood.
Therefore, we must be wary of what we do to earn money or acquire property, etc., so that we are careful not to do anything that would have people willing handing over their things for false reasons.
In fact, this command also encompasses lying in general, and overall covers all forms of deceit.

Next we see not to bear false witness. In english this is vague, but YAH tells us in Eberyeh that this means much. The Eberyeh words which are translated as bear false witness mean: “To not speak, receive, or pay any attention” regarding “your fellow-man/friend/companion/anyone” a “Testimony/claim/witness/protest/warning/” that is “False (relative word to “voracious appetite, the likeness of a predatory animal”; as well as a word for “the winking of the eye”)” One needs only to combine these various definitions together to understand the variety of instances in which we must be wary of, as it is simply more than telling an overt lie about someone in order to have them wrongly accused of doing something. In fact, this commandment does not need to only apply to telling or believing lies about people for negative reasons, but also for positive reasons; for it is no better in the eyes of YAH to exalt a man to glory for something he never did, and therefore deceive people, than it is to bring a man to shame for something he never did, since both are abominable falsehoods which will bring an evil mind on the people.

The final command of the Ten Spoken Words is the command to not covet. This Eberyeh word for covet is a word meaning “to desire, lust, take pleasure in, covet, delight in”. So the depth of this is more than just not looking at something and wanting it, but also to avoid even taking enjoyment in other peoples things. YAH gave a long list of things, finalized by the word meaning “all things” pertaining to your fellow-man, so as to emphasize not feeling these desires or enjoyments of anything that is not something YHWH gave us.
Now it seems understandable that we should not look at someone else’s belongings and have it in our hearts to want it, as this will corrupt our spirits to sorrow for not having material things, and instantly breeds ingratitude to YHWH alongside it, which is evil. However, it seems less sensible that we should not even take pleasure in that which is not ours, right? If our fellow-man allows us to use something of his or hers, we are to avoid taking pleasure it it? Even though this seems extreme, we must first understand that though we can enjoy its use, what we should not do is develop an attachment for it “to delight in it” and consider deep in our hearts how wonderful the object is, because we are quickly developing an emotional (and therefore, spiritual) attachment to something that is not YAH, and therefore will be burned away in the end of things, as something that is made to have never existed. This deep enjoyment of someone else’s things also will quickly lead to covetousness of the thing, which as was said before leads to ingratitude to YHWH.
The importance of all of this is that YHWH gives us things, and He takes things from us. So does He do with everyone else. But, as Yahushwa said, we are not to be seeking the things of this world anyway. Yahushwa gave us the greatest revelation of creation, and brought the spirit of understanding to the people to recognize this: that the things of this world essentially do not exist, and that this world is only a womb in which some will be born unto the true world, while others are made to be as if they never existed to begin with, which will also be the fate of the 1st world. But, this world and the material things in it are a great trial against us, to see if we will take the things of a world that is essentially just a mirage, and lust for them and live for them, rather than desire the world to come which is real and eternal.
Just because YHWH gives us material things, does that mean our desire should be for the material things, seeing as they are essentially an illusion, and will be made to not have ever existed? If not, then how much more so that we should not waste our lives longing for others’ material things which will have the same fate! All these things are a waste of our time on this world, and are distractions from the true goal. We should be thankful for what YHWH gives us, and pray He gives to us as He sees fit in His infinite wisdom, not after our own desires, and meanwhile earnestly pray for a wealth of spiritual things: righteousness, patience, knowledge, obedience, wisdom, strength, and entrance to the New Earth, etc. These things we should ask YHWH to give us in abundance and never cease to supplicate for, while meanwhile allowing YAH to give us temporary things as He sees fit, and being thankful that He is sustaining us in this temporary world while preparing us for His greater creation, because despite the seeming grandeur and intensity of this world, and all its events and great story, this world is actually the lesser creation, because it will be destroyed, and blotted out from the collective memory (however, it is likely that YAH will remember it all, and only His chosen will forget all of the hardships and evils of the past as they dwell with Him in the paradise of the new earth). Let us have our priorities in order, and therefore certainly avoid that which would lead us to give more of our mental energies towards focusing on other people’s things, and therefore less on YAH’s wonderful plan ahead.

(note: the major difference in the septuagint, despite having to simplify the Hebrew into the simplest understanding, seems to be the re-arrangement of vv.13-15)

Verses 18-21 — After the Speaking, The Fright of the People

“And all the people saw the thunders, the lightning flashes, the voice of the shophar, and the mountain smoking. And the people saw it, and they trembled, and stood at a distance, and said to Mosheh, “You speak with us and let us hear, but let not Aluhayim speak with us, lest we die.” And Mosheh said, “Do not fear, for Aluhayim has come to prove you, and in order that His fear be before you, so that you do not sin.” So the people stood at a distance, but Mosheh drew near the thick darkness where Aluhayim was.” Masoretic (TS2009)

“And all the people perceived the thundering*, and the flashes, and the voice of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and all the people feared and stood afar off, and said to Moses, “Speak thou to us, and let not [Aluhayim] speak to us, lest we die.” And Moses said to them, “Be of good courage, for [Aluhayim] is come to try you, that His fear might be among you, that ye sin not.” And the people stood afar off, and Moses went into the darkness where [Aluhayim] was. (LXX)
*note: in Brenton’s LXX translation, he notes that the phrase in greek literally means “saw the voice”

The first statement about seeing thunder, lightning and the voice of the shopper/trumpet is very misleading. This reads in Hebrew “and all the people perceived the voice/callings/shouting/loud noise(s); along with their burning lights; and the voice/sound/call of the shophar/trumpet blasts.”
This is confirmed in the Greek, which reads: εωρα την φωνην και τας λαμπαδας και την φωνην σαλπιγγοσ or “saw/percieved/experienced/beheld the sound/call/adress/voice and the burning light/lights/lamps/torches and the sound/call/address/voice of the trumpet (related to word meaning a loud blasting sound, akin to a trumpet) there is a different word for “thunder” in greek, as well as for “lightning” and neither of these words were used, because those who translated the Eberyeh into Greek understood the context of the passage, unlike those who are translating to english, who do YAH a great discredit to His esteem when writing “thunder and lightning”. The people witnessed YHWH speaking to them with His terrible, awesome, amazing voice, and this was accompanied not by flashes of lightning, but long, sustained burning bright lights of an alien form, which as well would be terrifying, along with the sounds of a heavenly blasting sound—a sound YHWH gave us to mimic (albeit not as gloriously) in the form of various trumpets, origionally kudu horns, but also from wood and metals.

Finally, in conclusion, the people heard all of these terrifying things, and did not want to see or hear anymore, and told Mosheh to hear the rest and have him bring it to them. They heard the first ten words/commands of YHWH, by His own voice, and would bear no more of the voice of YAH, and told Moshe to do the rest of the listening so that they could have peace, and then Mosheh would tell them the rest of the commands. So he did, and went into the thick darkness which bore YHWH inside.

These ten commands were not the only commands we are to follow. They were just the only 10 YHWH spoke to all of the people, before they asked to get the rest from the lips of Mosheh, and not the voice of YAH. It is interesting to note, though, that most people only claim that we need to follow the 10: proving the scriptures that people only want to hear the first 10, and not hear the rest (albeit many also forsake those 10 simply by forsaking the Shabbath).

Prayerfully we will all study and search out how to live according to the Most High by deeply studying His Turah, for in it is the key to life on this world and the next. Let us be zealous for the Turah of YHWH, for He is our Creator, and our Saviour! Have a blessed Shabbath!

 

 

Locks of the Nazarite

Is Locked hair Pagan?

“Locks”—wrongly called “dreadlocks” or “dreads” sometimes—is a popular hairstyle in various counterculture groups, but is also an ancient hairstyle.
Below is what most people think of when they think of the locked hair style, or “dreadlocks”:

Because of the stigma of many pagan  cultures, modern and ancient, wearing this hairstyle, it is therefore believed that this hairstyle is pagan, and we should by no means ever have hair like this.

However, we should ask ourselves: did the pagans create this hairstyle, or did they take it and corrupt it when they should not be using it. Many things practiced by pagans are corruptions of things originally given to us by YHWH. That’s why they came to be in the first place (albeit many other things practiced by pagans came from fallen Watchers).

Nazarites

There are those who disagree and say that locked hair is good, and of YAH, and often will point to Samson, who bore seven locks of hair, which would happen if an Eberyeh man never combed, cut or separated his hair all his life (which would describe Samson, a nazarite from birth). However, these people will often point to the english translations of Judges, and so their strong visual argument becomes a weakness to those who would then go into the Eberyeh language and say that the word used for “locks” here is מחלפח and that it means “braids” due to it meaning a “ringlet of hair”, and its relation to the word for “gliding over/through”. Though this word in itself is a vague word, it is commonly understood as braids, and this usually this creates stagnant debates, with each just reasserting their same argument about the passage in judges, and never elaborating further. This word though, used in Judges to describe samson’s hair, is used nowhere else in scripture. it occurs only 2 times, and both times in the book of Judges, revolving around the story of Samson. So this whole argument about Samson and his hair, and using this for or against long locked hairstyles ,is meaningless…when only this aspect is studied.

What both sides are ignoring is the actual command for the Nazarites, and what their hair is to look like. When one reads an english translation, they will find something along the lines of this:

“All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled which he seperateth himself unto [YHWH], he shall be holy and let the locks of the hair of his head grow.” (Numbers/Shemoth 6:5) (KJV)

In English, the command seems to say to just grow long hair, and never cut it. This is a terrible translation, as it captures the most minimal of the details of the Eberyeh, and ironically, in more words than Eberyeh.
Here are the words use to describe what is written in bold above, in Numbers 6:5
גדל פּרע שער ראשו
Let’s break this down:

Process of Nazarite Hair

גדל–Gidel: to twist, braid, lengthen, increase, build up, make greater.
פּרע–Peruwheh: loosen, to be disheveled, distressed, revealed, exposed, naked
שער–Sawyer: many understandings, all ranging from coarse, rough/ sections, pieces/ stormy/tempestuous/whirlwind, etc.
ראש–Rahsh: among many meanings, the applicable one is “head”

So let us analyze YHWH’s instructions:
1) Nazarites are to braid and twist their hair, and allow it to accumulate, in both length and girth and volume.
2) They must let their hair be loosed, freed, naked, or natural, and not be allowed to look pristine and immaculate through great care and maintenance. Letting one’s hair be free from all combs, products, while also not doing anything to comb it and separate it or smooth it out, will naturally cause it to become disheveled and tangly, and look a complete mess, which leads to…
3) it looking coarse, and rough, and figuratively as if a “whirlwind” went through it. As well. Once the braids are set and are never undone—while also twisting the hair with friction in ones palms in the beginning—and then these braids are simply left alone, they will become matted tangled sections of hair which accumulates in length and volume and  density.

The steps would be as so: 1) braid your hear together, into different sections. For greater strength, braid some of the braids together. twist them and tangle them together to form larger, stronger sections. 2) twist them between your palm and extend downward, thus disheveling them and lengthening them. 3) maintain the sections by continuing the previous process, until the sections are stable, and not falling apart anymore, but rather are remaining as sections. 4) All this time, do not use any products in your hair: no oils or soaps or combs or anything—just water to wash. (most soaps are already against YHWH’s will, but even natural hair-care products violate the Turah of the Nazarite). 5) When the sections are sturdy, leave them alone, and let them be natural, untamed and free to do as they please. The braids, being now tightly situated and tangles with other hair, will set into matted clumps as they are allowed to do their own thing.

The end result of doing what YHWH said to do as a nazarite, is large matted clumps of tangled locked hair that looks like a disheveled mess. This is a command of YHWH for His Nazarites. This hair sets them apart from the rest of the world. It is not pagan. It is abused by pagans who have no right having this hair, and thus will suffer for it, because they do not understand what the hair of separation is for: how it is a spiritual thing regarding becoming a person who is dedicated to YHWH (more or less like a monk, for lack of a better word). So if an individual is not keeping Turah, and certainly not a monk for YHWH, then they should by no means have this hair. It is set-apart hair abused by pagans, just as pagans abuse many other set-apart things.

Therefore…

Regarding Samson and his hair, whether it was in braids, pleats, etc. is not of too much importance. If he was a nazarite, then his hair would have been in matted locks anyway, since that is what YHWH instructed Nazarites to do. Whether he had seven large locks (which is my opinion, considering that’s what would happen after a lifetime of locked hair) or whether he had thinner locks and just braided them into seven larger braids—this does not matter, because he was a Nazarite, so he would obey the Turah and grow his hair in matted, clumpy, accumulated locks.

So let us look to Turah for the truth, rather than only at the examples of the world, for we will be led astray by them. This is a clear example of individuals, who, by seeking to not be like the pagans, rest on their own man-made assertions and vehemently preach them (their “traditions” so to speak), and thus are in fact preaching against the word of YHWH while seeking to preach being set-apart.

So in regards to the Nazarite vow, let us not blaspheme YHWH by calling the mark of His set-apart monks, who chose to do this for the Most High, as something that is dirty, unclean, and pagan.
Sadly, because pagans took the hair given to YAH’s monks, people will unwittingly blaspheme the hair of separation, speak falsehoods, and teach others to do wrongly and against the Turah regarding the Nazarite vow, among many other transgressions. It is amazing how when we choose not to consult the Turah on one matter, how much more Turah we break in the process. It is a chain of events that grows exponentially, and if we would simply seek knowledge of the Turah of YHWH, we would greatly diminish our transgressions against it, and the transgressions against it that we cause others to do by our forsaking it.

 

 

 

Mysteries of the Letters ש and ס

Introduction

This will a be the first of a series of brief pieces on what we here believe is one of the greatest corruptions in the masoretic text of scripture: the swapping of the letters ש and ס in various words.

Mispelling a Hebrew word is not like misspelling an English word.  If I misspell “House” as “Houshe” it is not only somewhat recognizable as its original word, but it also means absolutely nothing in its misspelled form. However, if you misspell the hebrew word יעד “y’wad” which means, “agreement, contract, marrige betrothal,” and render it as יער “y’war” it then means “honeycomb”. It does not simply look weird and mean nothing. In fact, the Hebrew language is designed in such a way that words can be synthesized and still have meaning, for each character means something, and the arrangement of them creates words, with all hebrew words being nothing more than compounds of other smaller words.

What is interesting, though, is that changing the letters ש and ס  in a word often changes it from a spiritually good word to a spiritually bad word. The letter ש naturally has a “sh” sound, and the letter ס naturally has a “s” sound. These things were beautifully simple, yet the medieval pharisaic scribes thought it well to change much around and cause great confusion.

Anyway…

The first word we will look at is a very critical one: that which is translated in english as “Israel” and in modern Hebrew as “Yisra’el”.

Here is how it appears in the Masoretic text:  יִשְׂרָאֵל

This word is a composite of both two words and three words, and we will look at them and their corrupted counterparts

Now the letter ש here is made to sound like an “s” by the placement of a little dot on left. The original language of the Eberyim did not have such a marker, but instead, it was added much later.

The Two Original Meanings

1) The word יִשְׂרָאֵל is a composite of ישר (YShR) and אל (AL) and this makes the phrase “made upright by Al” of “Straigtened by Al” or “Righteous by Al” these definitions make sense when looking at Genesis/Bereshith 32, since it is in this chapter that we see Yakub (Jacob) wrestling with YHWH, Who seems to have possessed a flesh body. Here Yakub is pinned down or bent about, but will not succumb. Therefore, when the day came, and YHWH blessed him, Yakub was released and made upright or straight, and even though his leg was severely injured (v. 25), it was made healed by YAH so Yakub could walk upright.
It is also by becoming Y’shral that we are seen correct or righteous (YShR) by YHWH, and it is in this name that the covenant people is called.

Interstingly, though, should we say יסר (YSR) rather than ישר (YShR) we are saying “Punished, chastised, (literally with physical blows and wounds) and as well, instructed or taught through punishment.” Albeit this is true for us, It should not be our goal to be punished by YHWH for wrongs, but to be seen as right by atonement, and by seeking to keep all of His commands so that we need less and less chastisement. We should seek to be right and please YAH, not seek to be punished by him, for that comes by transgression.

2) יִשְׂרָאֵל is also a composite of three words: י (Y) שר (ShR) אל (Al) which means “He is prince with Al”, as well as “He prevails Al/He escapes Al) In these senses respectively, Y’shral will reign with YAH for 1000 years; Y’shral will overcome the trials of this life which are set to us by YAH; and finally, Y’shral will escape the final judgement of the world by YHWH.   Also, Y’shral can another meaning along the lines of “He (in the womb lives by/has been born to) Al”, as another meaning of the word שר is “an umbilical cord”, and this directly reflects what Yahushwa taught, as well as the rest of the scriptures.
Also, שרה (ShRaH) means “Queen”. If YAH is king, and we are the bride, this makes us spiritually as a queen; for His bride will be all of those who bear the Set-apart Spirit.

The Corrupted Meanings

Now, if we corrupt the letter ש to be as a ס, then these are the definitions we get:

1) יסר (YSR) אל (AL)  This will mean: Punished by AL. as was stated earlier, this should not be our goal.
2) י (Y) סר/סרר (SRaR/SR) אל (AL): This leaves two major groups of meanings: one is “He is sorrowfully angry with Al and the other is “He is rebellious/a revolter against Al” or “He is an enemy to Al”. None of these things describe YHWH’s elect.

 

 

 

Is Yahushwa (Jesus / Yeshua / Yahushua) The Messiah?

There is talk going around from people who have found out the truth of YHWH, Yahushwa (normally called Jesus, Yeshua; also Yahushua) and the Turah (Torah or Law). They are now claiming that The Turah is true, and YHWH is true, and the covenant is true, and religions are false, BUT…now they claim that Yahushwa was not real, and that he contradicts the Turah and TaNaK, rather than agrees. As for us at Scrips n Foil, we do not reject the Most High, His Turah, or His plan, and his plan includes Yahushwa as the anointed one of YAH.

Later we will have an article describing the various scriptural arguments that are used against Yahushwa’s truth, and we will refute them with spiritual understanding and wisdom. Meanwhile, here is our article explaining the spiritual nature of rejecting Yahushwa, and why this leads to destruction, and a brief explanation of who Yahushwa was and is.

Granted this explanation of the Messiah will certainly be controversial to christians and many messianic Turah-followers, it is the scriptural truth, and when understood, it purely exposes the blasphemy of rejecting the Most High’s anointed, Yahushwa.

The Importance of The Messiah

There are in this age many more people who recognize the truth of the Hebrew scriptures: what is called the “old testament” writings and “the new testament” writings. These people do not account for much of the world population, but are much more than they had been. These individuals accept the scriptures, but reject christianity and judaism. They know of the Creator and that the whole Turah (Torah, law, etc.) is necessary to keep, in order to properly serve the most High, YHWH, and obtain His promises.

However, there is an horribly unfortunate circumstance coming to be lately, and this is that many in this renewed movement are looking over the “new testament” and deciding that Yahushwa, the anointed, is false, and has no bearing on the TaNaK. This is false, and  their claims will be discussed further with various scriptures and discussion

Interestingly enough, their claims seem to be the same as the claims of one class of jewish anti-missionaries, whose sole purpose is to make people think that Yahushwa was not the anointed. These anti-missionaries have no other purpose. They are trained explicitly on particular matters of scripture, and to explain them in such a way that would seem to render the Messiah a false one, much like how the Jehovah’s witnesses are trained to do preach their doctrine. Just like a Jehovah’s witness, they are taught on particular areas based on the common christian interpretation of scripture, and have their arguments based on that. Should one present the true spiritual understanding of all of the scriptures—including the “new testament” —then they would likely silence themselves as the Jehovah’s witnesses do, as they are not taught how to deal with the profound spiritual truth of YHWH; but rather, they only know how to deal with the shallow worldly constructs of the christian religion, and so they would have no rebuttal against true wisdom. They do not have spiritual wisdom, but rather they have worldly indoctrination at the hands of men, and they teach this, because they are not given true spiritual wisdom from YHWH.
So people who once claimed to be following truth of spirit, and not religion, are now considering the same arguments as proposed by a militant division of one of the most powerful religions in the world, and believing them for the same reasons: because they look at the scriptures and the world through worldly eyes, and not spiritual ones.

Unfortunately, for those who were sown on rocks, worldly pressures will dry out their seed and starve it to death, and that is what is happening.

The Grave Error of Rejecting Yahushwa

The first thing one must consider before wondering if Yahushwa is true, and if he is necessary or prophesied of, first we must consider who he was and is, and what it means to reject him. When we know of this, we see how serious this is, and why these people are in an astounding paradox. Let it be clear: these people claim that the whole Turah must be kept, and recognize its complete validity in all areas. They claim they believe that the whole of YHWH’s system is prefect, good, and necessary for mankind—all aspects of it.

This is the paradox of their rejection: These who claim YAH’s Turah as perfect—including the Levitical, A’haronic high-priest system of sacrifice for atonement for sin—are declaring that they do not need a Lewitical high priest descended from A’haron. YHWH set up a very particular system of atonement in the Turah and these people say that they do not need it. Without considering their choice and actions before doing it, they have just blasphemed half of the Turah of YHWH. They have decided they will keep the covenant commands, but chose that they don’t need YHWH’s system of atonement to atone for them when they mess up. They are therefore going to to do what?— something other than what is written in the Turah.
The Turah Never changed, and never will. There will only be change in the new Creation, when there is no sin, and therefore no need to atone for it. As of now, there is still sin, and therefore, the perfect system of atonement that YHWH created still stands; only, now it is done by SHILOH (Meaningless in English, but in Hebrew, an acronym for “the one which it belongs to”), and it is done in the heavenly place that Mosheh (Moses) made a copy of on earth.
If one chooses to keep the Turah covenant, and yet rejects the atonement system, then they might as well live as the nations, for their sins are not covered, and they die for eternity, as the nations shall die. This should make perfect sense.
These people also reject the line of the king anointed by YHWH, and will have to choose some other king, just as the book of Maccabees records was done over two thousand years ago. However, these people have a king chosen for them already, as does the rest of the world. This is desperately sad for these people, but also frustrating, as these individuals are now spreading these lies to persuade others to fall from truth, and thus to death.

The True Nature of Yahushwa

So who is Yahushwa? He is both king and high-priest in heaven. One who is spiritually reborn into truth should eventually come to the conclusion that he had two human parents. Yoseph (Joseph) was of the seed of David (David), and therefore of Yahudah (Judah) as prophesied. Miryam (Mary) was, however, not of Yahudah. We see in the gospels that she was a direct descendant of A’haron (Aaron), and therefore she had the blood of the Levitical High-priesthood in her (Luke/Luqas chapter 1). Miraym could not fulfill the messianic prophesy of Yahudah, however, there are other writings which describe a messianic figure coming from the tribe of Lewi (Levi) to fulfill the role as the final High-Priest, as well as a messianic figure coming from the tribe of Yahudah to fulfill a final kingship (see the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs).
Here then we have both tribes fulfilling both roles through what YHWH created: a man and a woman. To remove one of these from the birth of the Messiah is to blaspheme YAH’s creation, as he made both man and woman for many profound purposes so as to glorify Him, and to remove the woman’s purpose or the man’s is to erase a major part of YAH’s beautiful creation-to-salvation story.
Now, Yahushwa was a flesh and blood man, as the apostles said numerous times. But what else was he? He was the vessel to bear YHWH within, and few understand this. People want to assume he was either YAH himself, born of part woman and part YAH: the virgin birth. This is a myth, and it is one of the tools the anti-missionaries use to propagate the very lie that people are believing. The virgin birth myth, with Yahushwa being a half-god half man is partially a gnostic belief which claims that Yahushwa was not a man at all, but was just a visible spirit.
The other belief is that he was merely a man, and had no divine nature whatsoever. He was a prophet who was ascended to heaven, which is also the claim of islam. This is what conclusions one comes to when they realize the virgin birth is false. But that leaves many unanswered questions. particularly regarding his return, and how the old prophesies claim that YHWH is coming to do all of the things that the New writings claim Yahushwa will do. Here we ave a conflict which is just as likely to cause others to lose their faith.
He was neither of these two things. He was a human body chosen from the beginning to be the perfect vessel for YHWH to dwell inside of. This is why he is called Wamanual (Emmanuel), because this literally translates as “Al is with/among/like us”.
Despite the fact that close study of the “new testament” shows this nature of Yahushua, it is also explicitly mentioned in the book “The Shepherd of Hermas”, which is a book that no modern bible contains save for obscure oriental orthodox churches. It reads:

5[58]:5 “Say on,” he saith, “if thou desirest anything.” “Wherefore, Sir,]” say I, “is the Son of [Aluhayim] represented in the parable in the guise of a servant?”

6[59]:1 “Listen,” said he; “the Son of [Aluhayim] is not represented in the guise of a servant, but is represented in great power and lordship.” “How, Sir?” say I; “I comprehend not.”

6[59]:2 “Because,” saith he, “[Aluhayim] planted the vineyard, that is, He created the people, and delivered them over to His Son. And the Son placed the angels in charge of them, to watch over them; and the Son Himself cleansed their sins, by laboring much and enduring many toils; for no one can dig without toil or labor.

6[59]:3 Having Himself then cleansed the sins of His people, He showed them the paths of life, giving them the law which He received from His Father. Thou seest,” saith he, “that He is Himself Lord of the people, having received all power from His Father.

6[59]:4 But how that [YHWH] took his son and the glorious angels as advisers concerning the inheritance of the servant, listen.

6[59]:5 The Holy Pre-existent Spirit. Which created the whole creation, [Aluhayim] made to dwell in flesh that He desired. This flesh, therefore, in which the Holy Spirit dwelt, was subject unto the Spirit, walking honorably in holiness and purity, without in any way defiling the Spirit.

6[59]:6 When then it had lived honorably in chastity, and had labored with the Spirit, and had cooperated with it in everything, behaving itself boldly and bravely, He chose it as a partner with the Holy Spirit; for the career of this flesh pleased [YHWH], seeing that, as possessing the Holy Spirit, it was not defiled upon the earth.

6[59]:7 He therefore took the son as adviser and the glorious angels also, that this flesh too, having served the Spirit unblamably, might have some place of sojourn, and might not seem to hare lost the reward for its service; for all flesh, which is found undefiled and unspotted, wherein the Holy Spirit dwelt, shall receive a reward.

If one is born into the wisdom of the Most High YHWH, they can understand these things, for these are not worldly matters, but heavenly, spiritual ones. So it is this glorified body that YHWH will descend in when He comes to earth, for He will require a vessel to do so, as He has shown many times in the TaNaK. This is absolutely necessary, as YHWH Himself said in Exodus/Shemuth 33:20 that no man can see YHWH’s true form and live. If YHWH is contained within a vessel designed to hold Him, then people can look at him and live, which will be required for mankind for at least 1000 years after YAH descends to earth within Yahushwa.

So it is clear here that implications are grave, but require spiritual understanding to understand. Later, we will have an article written discussing the various points proposed as to why Yahushwa is not true, and showing how these claims are without spiritual understanding. They will then be tested with Wisdom, to prove them wrong. Meanwhile, seek YHWH, and seek His Wisdom, and seek the things of the Kingdom, and not the world.
